Imagineering a goal into your future
Your perception, your reality
Thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits, your habits become your character,
your character becomes your destiny... You think, therefore you are... your destiny.
Whenever you think someone witnesses . . . inside,
whenever you speak someone listens . . . inside,
whatever you do someone always notices . . . inside,
whatever habits you create someone will store . . . inside,
whatever character you create, you inhabit,
and there is always someone behind that . . . inside
Subsequently whatever destiny you have now created for yourself, there is always more . . . inside
Get Smart! and Stay Smart
Why not retire those limiting & outdated behaviours, habits & beliefs & transform them into success.
Engineer your vision right now; it’s all in your mind; success, health, peak-performance & good relationships,
You really can entrain mental fitness and create the excellent results you want in your life, right now.
Hello and welcome to this blog it is based on Mindlab Training Series, an amalgam of the personal history of my partner Lynne and I (Jem) and our travels and experiences with mind-states such as meditation, clinical hypnosis and creative visualization and our present focus on biofeedback, Neuroscience and emerging mind technologies.
Throughout life I’ve had access to the futurist hat and a knack for envisioning and working with new & emerging technology. I was intrigued very early with the idea of Virtual and Designed experiences. To move toward my goal of designer experiences, I built a virtual experience chair comprising an audio-visual headset displaying a virtual gymnasium and theatre for relaxing and exercising the mind incorporating the senses of sound, vision and touch or vibro-accoustics. & Integrating EEG for the monitoring of brainwaves during the workout.
Hi my name is Lynne - and on a parallel to Jem’s research and development, I have been exploring brainwaves but more from a medical & practitioner perspective. My career in nursing had been in the area of cancer treatment and coronary care, however, when Jeremy’s studies moved towards researching interactive media driven by bio & neurological input, I became very interested. I then spent some time working in a Melbourne Clinic, where people with conditions such as ADD, ADHD, addiction, and epilepsy. Also, some mental illnesses are treated by learning to watch and adjust their brainwaves, on screen in real-time using software and further supported by neutraceuticals.
Jem:
Our current interest in biofeedback and mind technology is less medically oriented, aimed towards the pursuit of target mind states incorporating sensory-rich light /sound theatre environment chairs for mental theatre.
Lynnie:
Our aim is for you to create your own designer mind-states for work, play, sport and therapeutic purposes.
Jem: Lynne and I studied and practiced meditation for more than 20 years Our experience of meditation is that it can give you a sense of inner peace and is a valid technology for expanding the range of human intelligence and brain-wave frequencies, particularly those of the unconscious mind
Lynne:Recent research shows evidence of very useful brain changes in long term meditators… we will elaborate on this in an upcoming podcast.
Jem: I have always been fascinated by information relating to the mind and brain, meditation and hypnosis. I realize now that in my long relationship with meditation, it has proved to be an expanding tool, providing a fallback strategy, buffering many stressful situations and affording me rewarding inner experiences.
However, one thing of note; in my case it didn’t process the inner, habitual tapes, voices and patterns that rotated inside me as if on autopilot. It was as a result of this that I searched further for answers and solutions into Clinical Hypnosis, NLP and Creative Visualisation techniques. In the nineties I studied Clinical Hypnotherapy & NLP) with a global training company, working with them later, on subliminal technologies. I had the good fortune to present some of this work at the World Hypnotherapy Conference in LA in 2000. Last year I spent time researching for a Masters using brain-waves technology relating to multimedia devices and interfaces
Brain research and associated technologies is a growing area of research, focus and interest; for example sony recently reported as patenting Sony a new theoretical, non-invasive technology based on neurological sensory stimulation of the human brain, allowing people to touch, taste and smell in a virtual sense & requiring no implants or wiring to the brain, but instead relying on an ultrasonic system to stimulate the cerebral cortex.
MindLab is all about your mind and how, with practice, you can learn to control it a great deal! blend
We developed MindLab, to create Accelerated Personal Change!
MindLab formed techniques & utilised technology to boost, entrain & strengthen specific brain-wave frequencies & mind-states, & bookmark them for later recall.
We developed the technique of envisioneering; a simple, fast-track fusion and experience of meditation, creative visualization and self-hypnosis tools?
With meditation you can focus & observe your mind in action plunging below normal scattered awareness and by observing the machinations of the mind, detach and stay calm, eventually gaining a sense of peace and happiness
With Hypnosis you use the mind to change your mental processes structures and context for change communicating with the subliminal mind via the language of metaphor and modifying outdated tapes and agendas
