Shape your future; accelerated change
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so"
W.S.
Some things to create positive accelerated change in your life:
Imagine the means to your goal, mentally rehearsing & nurturing the feeling, as if it’s already happened.
Earth-wire each achievable step, bringing it to life using emotions.
Collaborate with an inner guide or board of celebrities selected from history for advising you.
Relive and rehearse past successes as if they are memories from your future.
Much of your power for success is simply practice erasing bad events, and bring back and maintain good events in an expanded present. Research has shown that successful people generally remember good events and forget the bad;
Stick your greatest successes on a wall in your house somewhere. Gaze and think on them with respect for the person who accomplished them, re-experiencing them.
Recall a time when you felt the way you want to feel, & get back into that feeling.
In Pronoia, the Antidote to Paranoia, Rob Brezsny declares evil is boring, the universe is friendly, and life is a sublime gift created for our amusement and illumination. Pronoia is the suspicion that people everywhere are conspiring for your betterment and always doing the best they can with the resources they have right now to help you and are basically on your side
You have the power in your mind to choose the kind of mental luggage to bring with you, ugly, worn-out failure luggage, or optimistic positive?
Rejecting bad events is a good way to clear your inner screen for good new programs to run.
On your inner screen You can choose to illuminate carry past experiences into onto your future screen into the future experiences from your past.
Some of them are best left in the past. You can decide which luggage to bring; ugly, worn-out failure luggage, or optimistic positive?
Successful people most likely have had more failures than anyone else too A little formula might go something like this:
- Try more approaches
- Fail sometimes
- Learn from the good events RETAIN the knowledge
- Learn from bad events then ERASE & move on

In a sense everything’s a habit; success in life happens to the degree that you harness successful habits.
It’s often easier to create two new useful habits than to retire an outmoded one.
For this reason many corporations employ young trainees rather than retrain older workers with bad habits.
A good strategy is to make a habit of seeking the positive experience within your attention and awareness, this will also helps attune you to the NOW channel
You can’t feel depressed without a chorus of driving negative thoughts, images, feelings and voices in your mind.
When you change either the content in your mind or the context it resides in, you can change your mind. Change those & you change state.
Failure could be perceived as feedback telling you that you’re going the wrong way, change what you’re doing, learn from the feedback, see it as a positive and make more right than wrong decisions in future.
Research has shown there are two basic responses to failure; a mastery response and a helpless response.
The helpless feel anxious when challenged, masterers feel exited and catalysed by obstacles.
To move toward mastery, you need to learn to accept negative feedback as data for future success rather than a terminal judgement.
Commitment and creativity is what makes life full and worth living, but it isn’t bundled with auto-success., so we don’t all experience creative success. The repetitive nature of business and monotony of work can erode your passion and imagination, create self-doubt and fear of failure and incapacity to take risks & jump to higher ground.
By holding yourself back at work, through work dissatisfaction, you hold yourself back from a possible third of your life, which may leak over into more agreeable areas of your life. Conversely you could utilise your workplace as a catalyst for personal change.
BLIND SPOT
Most of us have a blind spot for noticing our own creative assets, but are connoisseurs of those of others.
We can develop great skill at recognising our own incompetence. You can probably tell in intricate detail what, why and how you can’t do and learn or how you failed at something.
We seem to have lost the capacity to learning through mistakes. The current demands of Western Culture causes our lives to be constantly interrupted by the phone, fax or beeper with little to no time at all for silence and solitude. Our work schedules are just as demanding we are often so busy with our lives that a quiet space for drawing creativity rarely presents itself.
We suffer from mental bulimia: acquiring information then spitting it out with no time for the brain to churn, metabolise and create new patterns. Your brain loves to take and sort experiences, like the stomach sorts and churns food.
When you create new internal patterns of imagery, sound, and feelings or when you listen to music, recorded voice or read a book, your brain churns compulsively like your stomach does automatically streams fast-food; images, words and sounds and hidden concepts to your brain without the capacity for it to work for them. - a bit like the like roast beef and vegetable tablets given to astronauts in the sixties.
It is the norm of this culture to strive to be meticulously unique like everyone else & beta-wave oriented to the outside world. However, previous civilisations were equally inner as well as outer directed
We are addicted to the outer surface of things and avoid exploring the inner, where the brain, in fact, innovates. Lacking virtues such as solitude and inner-directedness can result in your brain lacking for biodiversity of psycho-nutrients and internal content. Playing with your awareness and modifying your behaviour is essential for new outcomes and achieving goals).
Creativity and originality evolve in slow, deep brainwaves beyond your desires and schemes, beyond the ability to mold them to your will, left to develop in good time they freely percolate up to you.
After you’ve searched outside for ideas and trawled inside for creativity for your goal, your idea can incubate, churn & make patterns and symbols and then separate and re-form. As you draw inwards to meditate, gain insight or Imagineer, sometimes there’s all this content in your head, it is your creativity voicing stories about your day, making pictures on your inner screen and feelings on what to do. This is a good time for you to detach from your outcome. Your waking mind, is OK for bringing you more of what you always get, but it is the most predictable and yet unreliable, linear & limited part of yourself.
We tend to operate our mind from a condition of insufficiency, a mindset that no matter what’s happening there is not enough.
For most of us upon awakening in the morning, no matter what time you went to bed or awoke, your usual first thought is I you didn’t get enough sleep, and then perhaps not enough to time to get to work comfortably or not enough bread, milk or butter and a generous serving of not enough money to do the things you want.
It’s a template for the whole western world and it’s such a commonplace part of our day that we hardly recognise it.
A real sense of inner peace comes from concentrating on what you already have and ignoring what is missing, remembering the old anonymous axiom: That as you go through life keep your eye upon the donut and not the hole.
Inner gratitude is a powerful state, which sends a message to your subconscious to find & allow more into your life. It does good things to your body & mind, by that you basically content, accepting and happy in your body. Your neurotransmitters surrounding all your cells respond in kind to this belief. Remember life usually improves from the inside out.
Change is feral, uncertain, and contrary to feelings of safety, it’s where you unshackle yourself and try different, and even rash ways to create variation. You can amaze yourself by breaking your comfortable pattern when doing things differently.
Some attainable examples of this would be to drive or walk a new way home. Everything is a habit. Allow yourself to begin thinking different thoughts and respond differently
Allot time to lie on your bed or your sofa and drift just to see where you end up
Paying attention to your NOW channel
Assert new & simple habits that affect your work ethic and creative process
Secondary Gain
a bit of a contradiction in terms; essentially it is the hidden reasons why you hang onto bad habits and limiting beliefs. For example smoking as a fix for something to do with your hands in public or as a means to annoy the boss, or persisting with a bad situation as a form of self-punishment
Become aware of how many things that you have tried to fix, change or manoevre which have a secondary gain. You may want to decide whether a secondary gain is more important & powerful than giving up a habit or limiting belief?
Secondary gain may be horsepower behind any of your little voices and worth considering when you shift internal positions
When you were between the ages 0-7 your brain was in the imprint stage where it was mostly incapable of absorbing rather than re-arranging or self-editing and you imprinted information? relevant for that time and age
- Some of that data may have been inaccurate then
- Some of it is possibly inappropriate for you now
- Some of what you absorbed & learned and then believed, early on, limited your scope and self-perception
This limiting process passes down through generations, handing limiting beliefs, self-perception and agendas from limited adults to unlimited children.
Our little unconscious robot faithfully continues our instructions; the prime directive of the unconscious mind is to preserve your life and highest good.
I am curious as to whether it may be time now …or soon to reprogram your subliminal mind by forming new mental habits, and replacing addictive negative thoughts and limiting beliefs with their antidote.
Thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits, your habits become your character,
your character becomes your destiny... You think, therefore you are... your destiny.
Whenever you think someone witnesses . . . inside,
whenever you speak someone listens . . . inside,
whatever you do someone always notices . . . inside,
whatever habits you create someone will store . . . inside,
whatever character you create, you inhabit,
and there is always someone behind that . . . inside
Subsequently whatever destiny you have now created for yourself, there is always more . . . inside
